About us
Henk Jan
Who are we
Henk Jan Vroom (1962) went to Germany as a young rider to learn the equestrian trade at one of the leading German dressage stables. Back in the Netherlands he competed in the subtop. Henk Jan is an instructor associated with the famous Chinese Heilan Equestrian Club. He currently rides horses for clients and teaches students from basic to Small Tour.
Angelique
My passion is to train a horse from young horse to Grand Prix. In addition to my own sport, I coach students in their competitive career.
Angelique was successful at a young age with her pony Alex and was
Z-2 champion of Drenthe with her horse Exxon at the age of 21. After that she started training and competitions together with Henk Jan in Germany, as a member of "Dressage team Jean Bemelmans".
Angelique is inspired by the riders she got to know in Germany and who still form the world top. She competes at Grand Prix level with her horse Domingo.
Angelique provides intensive guidance to ambitious competition riders.
Our philosophy
Our mission is to let our students achieve their goals with pleasure and respect for the horse.
In our teaching practice, we emphasize the fact that top sport can be combined with a horse-friendly approach. In this way we want to be ambassadors for a horse-friendly sport. We put our horse-friendliness into practice by performing the exercises in a responsible manner, which suits the athletic ability of the horse. We have learned the equestrian profession in Germany from grand masters like Jean Bemelmans and we apply the German system "Skala der Ausbildung", where the emphasis lies on a gradual build-up of the exercises, with tact and relaxation as a basic condition.
